Weekend In Review Again

Blogger Beta still stinks....
As do the Browns. The Bucs won and I am as happy as I think is reasonable for a person who has not had too much interest in OSU sports.
The Mrs and I worked in the yard Saturday and I got a kick ass blower/vac. I am the luckiest fellow in town.

Blogger In Beta Sucks

I do not like this new Blogger in Beta and see no reason for the switch. They must have known it was going to suck becuase they have made it so you can't switch back to the previous version that worked so well.
I have two main gripes:
1. I have to log in to Blogger each and ever time I want to check a blog or post a comment as for some reason my PC no longer finds the required cookie.
2.This aggravation is doubled as people who have not switched do not seem to be included in the new Google accounts. As I no longer have my old blogger account I can't post comments.

Why is it the technology-minded people are quick to accept things that are no where near fully flushed out and once the rest of the people finally figure out how to work with the bugs, the technos change things to a new thing with new problems that have to be re-figured. I point to the mobile phone which if you looked at it does not work. No system in place has a phone that always works. We have all dropped calls and had voice mail show up three days later and so on. But while these issues are still in place, now we have phones that can shoot video. The video is grainy and nearly unwatchable but has been added to the phone. WTF.

Pork

The Mrs. made my favorite breaded and fried pork chops last night. They were the greatest then and this morning in sandwich form.
The Younger will have some broiled chops tonight and I will have the rest of the breaded and fried. There is no reason to start him this early down this road and besides, this way I won't have to share.
previous to the pork I had a couple Great Lakes Chirstmas Ales at Malarkey's in Willoughby. I am not usually a fan of Great Lakes beer, but in this case they were good.
All in all, it was a good night.

What's Happening?

Not too much here. I swithced to the new blogger. What a pain in the ass. I am not a fan of change for changes sake and this is what this seems to be.
My eyes hurt. I think it is time I look into some laser surgery on my eyeballs. I am too sick of glasses and contacts and my perscriptions are both out of date.
I am in a smart-looking wool sweater. It itches like crazy. I wonder how people started wearing wool. I can see being the first guy, but how did he convince his fellows that a nice itchy wool shirt was in order? That guy must have been fun at office parties. He was probably the same guy that started eating sea urchins or balls.
It is kind of crazy to think how far people have come in such a short time, and sad to see how far we have left to go.
I am going to go home soon and eat left overs with my family. That will be cool.
