Gay Wizard

So, I just read that Dumbledoor was gay and wanted to beat Kristen to the punch. I had never given sexuality a thought while reading the (or listening to) the books. In my mind the people were largely without sex.

I don't think it matters much that he was written gay because it is fiction and nobody knew he was gay until the author said he was and how surprised should people be? I think it would have been a more interesting idea to out him in the first book and then see how popular the series became.
